3 Rivers Rendezvous Returns to Wet Your Britches

Whether you are a casual or advanced paddler, this event has something for everyone

Spring is finally here! That means water sports like paddling are back on the menu.

If the thought of conquering rapids at Oldman River or kayaking through Bull River gets your blood pumping, you are in luck!

After three years of COVID-19 restrictions, Pinch-O-Crow Creekers is back in full swing with its 3 Rivers Rendezvous event! Pinch-O-Crow Creekers is southwest Alberta’s premier paddling club.

The club’s 3 Rivers Rendezvous is a jam-packed event filled with paddling, camping, meals, and other activities.

Whether you are looking for a challenge out on the water or just want to enjoy Alberta’s beautiful rivers with your family, 3 Rivers Rendezvous has you covered.

From May 19th to 22nd, Pinch-O-Crow Creekers will offer Crowsnest, Castle, and Oldman Rivers trips. If you are looking for adventure over the long weekend, there will be a variety of trips available for both casual and advanced paddlers.

If you are a long-time 3 Rivers Rendezvous fan, it is worth noting that Pinch-O-Crow Creekers has moved the event to the PEAKS campus in Coleman.

The club previously used the Rodeo Grounds in Pincher Creek. However, the cost of using the area has tripled over the years. Instead of throwing in the towel, the Pinch-O-Crow Creekers moved the fun elsewhere.

The move even comes with some perks! The new location means trips to Elk, Wigwam, and Bull Rivers are now much shorter. Better yet, it’s also quicker to get to the Upper Oldman, and Carbondale paddling runs.

3 Rivers Rendezvous isn’t just about fun on the water, though. This year, the PEAKS campus area offers a great camping site. The camping area is sheltered, and the nearby meeting house has toilets, a commercial kitchen, tables, and chairs.

If toilets weren’t a draw for you, the club hosts a games night on Sunday for teens and adults. There is also a games night for children on Saturday.

Even if you aren’t a paddler, the Pinch-O-Crow Creekers encourage everyone to enjoy the area’s many nearby activities. This includes hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing, and much more.

If you want it all, the Pinch-O-Crow Creekers offer a complete package. As the name suggests, this package includes all event entries, entertainment, three nights of camping, two suppers, three breakfasts, and prize tickets.

However, there are plenty of other purchase options depending on what you are looking for. A complete breakdown of event prices is available on the Pinch-O-Crow Creekers’ 3 Rivers Rendezvous webpage.
