Calling All Calgary Heartland Fans: Your Chance to Shine on Screen! 

Be an extra in the iconic and beloved CBC series

Hey there, Heartland enthusiasts! Are you ready to step out from behind the TV screen and join the action live on set? 

Well, saddle up because the beloved CBC series Heartland is looking for hundreds of extras for a special Fan Extras Day on July 15! Yeehaw!

For the uninitiated, Heartland has been galloping strong for 18 incredible seasons, and now, as they film their latest season, they’re inviting fans to be part of the show. 

Yes, you read that right! If you can make it to the Calgary area, this is your golden ticket to see the magic of Heartland up close and personal.

What’s the Deal?

On Monday, July 15, fans who RSVP will have the chance to be extras in a rodeo scene. 

Can you imagine yourself cheering from the stands, dressed in your finest cowboy hat and western wear? 

It’s time to channel your inner rancher because this scene is about rodeo vibes.

How to Join the Fun

Registration is open, but hurry because spots are filling up fast!

Head to the official Heartland Fan Extras Day RSVP page to secure your spot. 

Remember, registration does not guarantee admission but gets you in line. 

The lucky participants will be notified by email on July 9, so keep an eye on your inbox.

What to Expect

Once you’ve secured your spot, get ready for an unforgettable day. Filming will take place in the afternoon, and you’ll need to stick around for 5-6 hours. 

But don’t worry, it’s going to be a blast! You’ll be part of the crowd at a rodeo, cheering, clapping, and maybe even catching a glimpse of your favourite Heartland stars.

Dress Code: Rodeo Ready

Dust up your cowboy boots and don your best western attire. Think Calgary Stampede—cowboy hats, plaid shirts, denim, and all the rustic charm you can muster.

  • Location: Within one hour of downtown Calgary (the exact spot is top secret until you’re confirmed)

  • Seating: Bleachers will be provided, and accessible seating will be available.
