July 6: Stampede Pancake Breakfast and Pet Pageant at Establishment Brewing
Hot Diggity Dog!
Establishment Brewing, the 2023 Alberta Brewery of the Year, will turn its parking lot into an extended pet-friendly patio starting at 9 AM.
There will be a Stampede pancake breakfast from 9 to 11 AM, followed by Pet Pageant fun starting at 12 PM and continuing into the afternoon.
Establishment Brewing is teaming up with Wren Bakehouse and Culinary Coworking to offer the tasty breakfast (complete with Wren’s famous Sourdough Pancakes) and raising funds for Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids, a local non-profit that ensures kids in our city have access to food.
So what’s not to like? Food, beer, pets on the patio, and money for kids to get healthy food!
July 7: Barlow Trail Animal Hospital and Chasin’ Tails FREE Stampede Breakfast
A Stampede breakfast that is both kid and pet-friendly!
Head over to the Barlow Trail Animal Hospital and join the team of Chasin’ Tails, as these two companies have teamed up to provide fun animal-related games, facility tours, prizes, and a raffle for you to enter for a big prize!
Pancakes, juice and Pupcakes will be offered at no cost.
July 7: Puppy Pancake Day at Bon A-Pet-Treat!
Grab your doggies (and cats!) and head to the annual Puppy Pancake Day at Bon A-Pet-Treat! Pet Store & Bakery from 10 AM to 2 PM (or until the pancakes run out).
Complimentary liver puppy pancakes with toppings, raffle prizes, goodie bags, spin to win, a family photo booth, caricaturist, adopt-a-thon, and an in-store sale round out the event.
This year’s menu brings something new: treats for catsl, in the form of seafood-flavoured kitty cupcakes.
Originally started in 2013 as a response to the Calgary floods, Puppy Pancake Day has become Bon A-Pet-Treat’s way of giving back and showing appreciation to the Calgary community.
All funds raised are donated to KCS Animal Rescue and ARTS Senior Animal Rescue with Bon A-Pet-Treat! matching donations.
These non-profit organizations will be there with adoptable dogs.

July 11: VCA CARE Centre Client Appreciation Stampede Breakfast
Join the crew at VCA CARE Centre for their annual Client Appreciation Stampede Breakfast from 9 – 11 AM.
There will be live music, a photo booth, carnival games, face painting, a mini pony petting zoo, giveaways, and so much more at their SE Calgary location.
July 11: Royal Veterinary Hospital Stampede Pancake Breakfast
Head over to the Royal Vet Hospital for their first annual Stampede Pancake Breakfast from 9.30 – 11 AM.
There will be special pancakes for pets and traditional pancakes for people, so bring your pups and appetites with you.
And don’t forget the cowboy hat for your mutt!
